Garden on Hope (SpringFest)
Our spring service opportunity connected with the Spring in the City Project. SageWorks worked with Garden of Hope on March 31 and April 14. Fellowship’s Garden of Hope is located at Two Rivers Park, down by the River. For a number of years, the volunteer team (led by Norm Blasingame and Bill Goodrich) have prepared and planted the garden and used the produce to minister in the Mid-town area as well as connect with the elderly here in West Little Rock. In teaming with the Garden of Hope, SageWorkers multiplied blessings throughout Little Rock.

Shepherd's Hope
Shepherd's Hope is a Christian medical, dental and health education ministry currently serving the South Midtown area of Little Rock. Three main priorities help Shepherd's Hope serve the community. First, they provide affordable routine healthcare and acute dental care to uninsured neighborhood residents who may otherwise not have access to quality care. Second, they learn about the life needs of those in our neighborhoods and, along with their partners, provide education or coaching to better equip individuals and families. And finally, they share the love and hope of Jesus Christ without bias to faith preference or affiliation. Learn more at Shepherd's Hope online. To help with meals for the volunteers, contact Pam Ferguson at 224-7171.
Foster Care
The CALL (Children of Arkansas Love for a Lifetime)
The CALL is working to find foster and adoptive parents for Arkansas children. Mary Carol Pederson, Executive Director of CALL says, "It's a great need. It's a crisis need especially in Pulaski County. There are 1100 children that come into foster care in a year. And there are only 262 families to care for those children." Learn more at The CALL.
