CARE Teams
It is easy to take your health and mobility for granted – to assume you will always have friends and family around you. The reality is that if we live long enough, there is a good chance that some of these will be taken from us. When that happens, it is important for the body of Christ to reach out to us and make sure we remain an integral part of our spiritual family. This is the purpose of the CARE Teams – to discover needs in our body and connect them with those in our body with the gifting, experience, and commitment to meet those needs.
According to our SageWorks Survey, the three most pressing needs in our body are transportation, spiritual connection and home repair.
Our first team has been developed to help people with these concerns.
L.O.V.E. Team
Teams of visitors want to love and encourage church members who are not able to meet regularly with an in-home visit. If you know someone who would benefit from a personal contact, email details to Donna Skrivanos at dskrivanos@fellowshiponline.com.
(Mary Hudson & Kathy Cobb visit Polly and Len Mano. All enjoy the time together. The photo shows Polly Mano holding Mary Hudson's 5-week old grandaughter.)
Home Repair Team
Team members are available to do minor home repairs for the SageWorks congregation. To request help, contact jkennedy11@comcast.net.
